Liphone Records has released about 350 albums since 1971. The repertoire is very broad, but the base of its productions is rock, pop, jazz and folk music. Anoter part of the company's operations is the music publishing company Litune Music. The majority of Liphone's artists come from Scandinavia but Michael Ruff (fusion/pop) and Jon Nagourney (Jazz), both of whom hail from Los Angeles, and Jonathan Longsoldier (Folkmusic) from South Dakota, have made recordings for Liphone Records. One of the most worldwide spread Liphone-tracks is on a Suzanne Vega CD.
