A lifelong, burning passion for jazz is what drives the drummer Uffe Flink to continually search for new venuves, make conacts and build new musica constellalions, to expose this beloved music to new fans.
Uffe has enjoyed an extremley rech and diversified career. Many Swedish jazz fans warmlyremember his Dreamland series and countless other jazz oriented radio programs. 
Included in the long list of Swedish jazz records Uffe has appeared upon is the critically acclaimed CD "A Good Dat For Saxes (Liphone Licd 3220) with Gunnar Bergsten and Lennart "Lillen" Andersson. Uffe played drums in the late Berndt Egerbaldh Trio and for many years has had a very close 
Kristworking relationship with singer Annkristin Hedmark and trumpet player Bosse Broberg.
For years Uffe´s partner in the business of making a band swing, has been the bassist Per Nilsson. Tolvan Big Band, Equinox, with sax players Thomas Frank and Håkan Boström and the Monica Borrfors Quintet are a few of the excellent Swedish groups Per har enreched with his "Dig In" playing style. The inherent sense of timing that he and Uffe share made him the natural choice for this CD.

Nikola Mitrovic, trumpet, born in Budva, former Jugoslavia lives in Belgrad and plays with the Belgrad Radio Jazz Orchestra. Nikola has toured with Clark Terry and sax player Clifford Jorden. He has also played the Pori Jazz Festival.

The vibrafonist Jon Nagourney from L.A. through his many visits to Sweden has often beeen a warmly welcomed guest solist with Uffe´s trio and developed a close frendshiåp with the guys in the band. Jon, with his elegent musical intelligence and unique lyrical style is highly respected
among musicians and public in both Sweden and the U.S. He is will documented in having made CD´s with both the Kenny Barron and Cedar Walton Trios. In February Uffe visited Jon in L.A. and played with Jon´s trio. In march Jon reciprocated by coming to Stockholm and playing with Uffe. That same month the trio made a short tour with Nikola and the 
idea of joining these two kindred souls on CD became a reality.

Pianist Alf Häggkvist is also a talent worthy of greater recongition. His wide experience is both thorough and varied. He has played church concerts, backed solo singers and played behind choirs. He also writes lyrical and very personal compositions. Give a listen to the criticly acclaimed trio CD "The Beautiful High Coast" and the brand new CD "Crystals" (Liphone Licd 3229). Alf has done concerts with Svante Thuresson, Putte Wickman, Krister Andersson, Viktoria Tolstoy,
Gustavo Bergalli and many others and is a perfect partner with Jon, Nikola, Uffe and Per. Five musicians that speak the same language through their instruments.
Finally, we have here a CD with an outstanding choice of tunes. The Be-Bop banner flies high and we´re treated to a warm, swinging CD full of a burning love for the jazz idiom.
